I was in college when SATC first aired and I was in awe of Carrie and her dreamy closet. She was a female I could relate too (the comfy white cotton tank) but wearing the newest Manolos and Dior dress (the black ball skirt) that was unattainable. So below is my nod to Carrie, SJP, and Patricia Fields.

This outfit felt like a great description of my relationship with Carrie Bradshaw.
THE look
• This skirt is multiple layers of asymmetrical black taffeta and feathers. I used the white cotton tank to create a blank canvas for the jewelry.
•Then I layered necklaces in different colors and lengths and we stacked a few simple gold rings not to distract from the star of the show.
• It was a rainbow palette of various stones and gold chain that brought the look to life.
Maybe the best any of us can do is not to quit, play the hand we’ve been given, and accessorize the outfit we got.

Nobody does a ball skirt and tee better than our favorite Sarah Jessica Parker aka Carrie Bradshaw and she inspired this next look. I love the juxtaposition of pairing a ball skirt with something as simple as a cotton tee.
